Security Management Solutions, LLC (SMS) is a private, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) founded in 2002. With more than 75 years of experience in law enforcement and military police, military intelligence and criminal analysis, SMS experts possess extensive experience and knowledge, which have been gained from operating in high risk environments worldwide. We provide comprehensive analysis, support, and advice to private organizations and governments on issues ranging from disaster management and counterterrorism to force protection programs. Meet our Executive Team:

 

Chief Executive Officer, William F. Foos, MBA, a bronze star recipient and a retired Lieutenant Colonel. Mr. Foos is an Army veteran of 27 years with both active and reserve military police experience. He is the original founding father of Security Management Solutions, LLC. His experience in the field of security has helped lead and consult with a number of state, federal, and private sector entities over the past 9 years in developing and improving their security programs. He has participated in and reviewed over 350 vulnerability and security risk studies. His demonstrated technical knowledge in the field of security risk management was rewarded in 2004 with leading in the development of FERC’s Dams Assessment Matrix for Security and Vulnerability Risk (DAMSVR) and subsequent update in 2008. His primary objective is to help serve and facilitate the exchange of information on best security risk management practices among the owners of facilities and structures, operators and managers, government regulators and executives of private sector companies.

 

 

President, Kevin T. Doss, MS, PSP, CPP brings over 22 years of experience providing consultative services within the security industry and has conducted numerous vulnerability and risk assessments. He is a subject matter expert in the design and application of physical protection system. Mr. Doss is actively involved with the South Central Pennsylvania Counterterrorism Task Force as an advisor on topics such as physical security, risk assessments, and counterterrorism. He has developed site-specific emergency plans based on the National Incident Management System (NIMS) along with vulnerability assessments and hazard analysis for federally qualified organizations. Mr. Doss is the ASIS International Physical Security Professional (PSP) Board Certification Review Program Advisor and a lead course instructor for several Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sponsored counterterrorism educational programs. He has completed the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Anti-Terrorism Intelligence Training Program.

Vice President, Joachim A. Gloschat Jr., MBA, PSP, CPP has worked with the Intelligence Community for over 27 years, both as a Counterintelligence Army officer and in concert with multiple government agencies. He has mobilized and deployed multiple times with Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. His experience with federal agencies includes Interagency Forum for Infrastructure Protection, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Corps of Engineers (USACE), Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Association of State Dam Safety Officials (ASDSO). Mr. Gloschat is a primary instructor for the ASIS International Physical Security Professional (PSP) review course. He is also developer and instructor of a national dam security Best Management Practices guide for ASDSO and Dam Assessment Matrix for Security and Vulnerability Risk (DAMSVR) methodology for FERC.
